Medications and Treatment

  • We do not use online pharmacies to fill prescriptions for heartworm medications or flea control that we carry in stock. Heartworm tests must have been performed within the last year for us to dispense medication for canine patients.
  • Pets on other types of medications will need a physical exam every 6 months and annual blood work before refills are obtained.
  • Animals who are surgical candidates will need to have been vaccinated within the past year. Dogs will need to have received the kennel cough vaccine within the past 6 months.
  • Surgical candidates with expired vaccinations or fleas will be updated and medicated at the owner’s expense. Tapeworm medication will be administered if a pet has fleas, also at the owner’s expense.
  • If an animal is deemed too aggressive to treat by the veterinarian, the owner will pay for a house call visit.
  • We require 24 hours notice for cancellation of an appointment.

Billing and Payments

  • We require payment at the time of service. No exceptions. We do not bill and offer no payment plans.
  • Cash, check, and credit cards (Visa® and Mastercard® only) are accepted.
  • A $25 service fee is charged for each returned check.
